The Rio Puerco River in New Mexcio shows the path of the river channel in four different ways years. Meanders develop where flowing water drop sediments on the inside of the bends in the river channel.
The machine that will work with the edge-condition of water and land in a logic way. Maybe the machine will help the river to perform better, tranform the river force, help people to understand the river performance or document logic processes within the river forces.
APPEARING AND DISSAPEARING LANDSCAPE-(concept)
The river water forces strikes to land edges creates vibrations allow to move sand causing sediment and erosion process. The sediments disappear from one place and appear to another place. So the machine will help to understand and document the logic process working close at the edge-condition. And as the border is removed between the Poland and Germany and now the people of two countries can move freely, so the memorial is designed at the Schengen border that has a hybrid program i.e. the Homosexual Wedding Chapel and Mushroom Station work as the appearing and disappearing landscape.
The Homosexual Weddings are allowed in Germany but not allowed in Poland so little bit at German side, while Mushroom food is a kind of specialty in Poland. This hybrid-programmed memorial would allow the two nations to come closer and get connected.
The homosexual wedding chapel is appear as a cloud and mist in the middle of the Germany and Poland, top of the River Oder standing on the existing columns of bridge connecting to the Mushroom Station which is itself as a bridge leading to the Russian monument at the Polish side. The Russian monument is the part of the cloud system spreading mist in the environment. Creating the foggy environment to allow the Polish people to disguise themselves in fog and easily move to the chapel.
The concept of the facade is based on the machine logic, research on hybrid programs, study trip to Poland and border cites of Poland and Germany, allowed to generate the building form through script.
